Adam Rasmussen (Principal, CFO) began his real estate career as a CPA working for the multifamily developer JPI in 1997. He then went to work for Lone Star Opportunity Funds in the Legal and Finance Department. At the time, Lone Star was the largest international real estate opportunity fund acquiring non-performing real estate debt and distressed real estate. After several years with Lone Star, he was recruited to work for a national bank in their Commercial Real Estate Asset Management division. There he oversaw the migration of $3.5 billion in performing commercial real estate loans from various acquisitions, as well as completing the bank’s formal credit training program.
Prior to arriving at Silver Tree Partners, he worked as an Asset Manager with a Dallas based private real estate firm. There he was directly involved in property management, leasing, financing, and budgeting for approximately 2.5 million square feet in office and retail properties. His responsibilities at Silver Tree Partners include the oversight of Asset Management, Fund Administrator for multiple real estate funds, investor reporting, and coordinating acquisition due diligence. Adam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
